South Cedar is a real estate investment and management firm focused on commercial real estate opportunities in the Southeast. The primary mission is to identify, procure, and improve selective commercial and residential real estate investments with a focus on total return for owners. Drivers in execution of this mission include hands on management as well as strategic rehabilitation and optimization.
W. Greg Wilkerson
Greg co-founded South Cedar in January of 2016 and currently focuses on expanding investor relations and acquisitions, while overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of South Cedar’s real estate assets and brokerage arm. Greg also implements and manages all construction related projects, including vendor management and project timelines. Greg has extensive experience in negotiating the financing aspects of South Cedar’s investments. He is an active member of the National Association of Realtors® and Orlando Regional Realtor ® Association, as well as the Florida Bar.
Greg was born and raised in Tampa, Florida attending Jesuit High School before continuing his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and obtaining his Juris Doctor from Florida State University in 2011.
After graduation from law school, Greg practiced law in Tampa with a national firm that specialized in complex real estate and foreclosure litigation, where he developed his skills in resolving title disputes for national financial institutions.
Greg is an avid golfer, serves as the Board president of a local charity, Saving Sight and Sound, and lives in South Tampa with his wife Lisa and two daughters, Emery and Hailey.
With a background in litigation and law, Kimberly helped co-found South Cedar in 2016.
Kimberly is a native of Tampa, Florida, attending Plant High School prior to receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2013. She has experience in residential transactions, with an emphasis on South Tampa.
Kimberly loves running on Bayshore and is a third generation Gator. She lives in South Tampa with her husband Michael, three children, Thomas, Caroline and Anna, and their golden retriever, Lily.
J.D., CPA, Co-Founder
With a background in financial analysis, Michael conducts modeling and acquisition analysis, as well as performs acquisition due diligence for South Cedar.
Michael is a native of Tampa, Florida, attending Plant High School prior to receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2013 and L.L.M. in 2014. He also received his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and has been a licensed certified public accountant since 2011.
Michael has maintained a focus towards financial analysis, including a brief time working at an investment banking firm in Washington D.C. This focus ultimately led Michael to real estate, both as an investor and now also in an advisory capacity for clients. Michael has a passion for seeking out undervalued properties and his experience also includes purchases at auction and REO transactions.
Michael is an avid angler and football fan who lives in South Tampa with his wife Kimberly, three children, Thomas, Caroline and Anna, and their golden retriever, Lily.

With a background in accounting and law, Lisa advises South Cedar on accounting, tax and asset protection matters.
Lisa is a native of Tampa, Florida attending Plant High School prior to receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2011. She also received her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida. Lisa is a certified public accountant licensed in Florida since 2009.
After graduation from law school, Lisa joined a boutique law firm in Tampa, specializing in tax law and estate planning for high net worth individuals and businesses.
Lisa also serves on the Board of a local charity, Saving Sight and Sound, and lives in South Tampa with her husband Greg, and two daughters, Emery and Hailey.
James Lascara is an active real estate sales associate and real estate investor in the Tampa Bay area. James specializes in residential multifamily, working with investment-focused buyers and sellers, FHA and VA buyers using leverage to acquire multiple units, and new construction properties.
James conducted more than $15M of sales volume in 2022. He is an active member of the National Association of Realtors® and Orlando Regional Realtor ® Association. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Ocean Engineering from the US Naval Academy.
With a background in accounting and real estate, Caylee assists investors in buying and selling real estate within the Greater Tampa Bay market.
Caylee is originally from Wisconsin and received her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2017 and 2018, respectively. Caylee has been a certified public accountant licensed in Texas since 2020.
After graduation, Caylee moved to Austin, Texas where she started her career in public accounting. She had a passion for real estate, which led her to take courses on how to effectively analyze deals for herself and investors.
Caylee moved to Pinellas Park at the beginning of 2022 and obtained her real estate license soon after. She spends her weekends exploring St. Petersburg and Tampa with her boyfriend, Alex, and aussie/heeler, Cairo.
Real Estate Consultant
Laurie Lane is a dynamic real estate consultant, investor and agent. She began her career working closely with investors and after obtaining the skills to remodel properties, took the same creative approach to acquire her own investments.
With her background in remodeling and construction, she helps clients navigate the home buying process and ensure her clients maximize value in their purchase. Her underwriting skills also allows her commercial investors maximize their return on investment and obtain their cash flow goals.
Laurie currently owns and manages an investment portfolio both locally and in Pennsylvania and also operates fund that specializes in tax deed in multifamily investing.
Having spent his childhood in the Jacksonville, FL area Cory is a Sales Associate focusing on the Northeast Florida region on behalf of South Cedar.
Cory grew up in Jacksonville, FL attending Paxon School for Advanced Studies before receiving his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in 2019. He graduated with two distinct degrees, one in Management Information Systems and the other in Commercial Entrepreneurship as well as receiving a certificate in United Sates Intelligence Studies.
After graduating from Florida State University Cory commissioned in the United Sates Marine Corps where he still serves on active duty today aboard MacDill Airforce Base in Tampa, FL.
Cory is a car and water sports enthusiast who enjoys being outdoors whenever possible. When not on the water or at a local car show he can be found on the golf course in the South Tampa area where he currently lives.
